This research deals with Enduring the Storm, during a hurricane flood, While the university Provide Classroom Video Pod-cast on Demand to Smooth the Migration from Instructor Led to Online classes. While the university is subm= erged, due to hurricane flood or temporary suspension, the regular classes have mi= grated to an online mode, and when instructor led classes resume, they migrate bac= k to Instructor Led Classes whenever the water recedes. CIS Professor Sara Rushinek is teaming with electronics companies and together they are testing innovative new products and multi-m= edia instructional "methods. University of Miami= CIS professor Dr. Sara Rushinek, is applying the same principals to her lecture= s, together with some other professors. These professors are "Taking a strategic leap forward in delive= ring its" professor's lectures "around the world on websites and mobile phones," as well as stand-alone DVD players. "It is creating a new Digital Media" instructional methodology.

''The students are demanding it,'' Rushinek said. ``Our audience wants to consume content wherever and however they can get their h= ands on it, so we need to make our content available to them whether you live in Latin America" just like "watching a novella or are looking at yo= ur cell phone and you want to see last night's'' professor's lecture that you = have missed, or want to review. Th= ey are working on captioning, translation, and subtitling in Spanish, while record= ing in real-time directly to a DVD, with both English and Spanish. The Rushineks, joined the University of Miami almost 30 years ago as CIS and Accounting professors, specializing in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Accounting Security Auditing.
