The Privacy Security Analyst will provide support to the Office of HIPAA Privacy & Security infrastructure and work in a team oriented environment, as well as provide a technical business component to the operation. The Analyst will develop databases in MicroSoft Access, and produce reports to monitor compliance and documentation. Will also facilitate monitoring, maintenance, and revision of the protected health information (PHI) work flows into Sharepoint, as well as update and maintain the departmental databases. Furthermore, the analyst will ensure that the Office of HIPAA Privacy and Security records are maintained and updated in a timely fashion. 

This person will work closely with the Director, the Chief Privacy Officer, and the Information Security Administrator to ensure that pro-active monitoring and remediation is undertaken as required by HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for the maintenance of the office’s website and database management.

Bachelors Degree in Business or related field and five years experience in Business/Health Care. Technical knowledge of Access, Sharepoint, IT security, and website maintenance is required. Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security regulation is a plus.
